#42: Exploring Soul & Remembering with Susan Stone

mind spirit

What if you’re not here to learn, but to remember?

In this episode, we sit down with Susan Stone: shaman, healer, and author of The Magical Nature of Humans, to explore the idea that we are souls having a human experience, slowly waking up from a kind of “amnesia.”

From early spiritual awareness to addiction, recovery, and deep healing work, Susan shares how life’s challenges aren’t random: they’re part of a greater unfolding designed to help us reconnect with who we truly are.

We dive into unlearning, intuition, karma, and the shift happening in human consciousness, and what it really means to live from a place of awareness instead of fear.

Topics We Explore:

  • Souls, amnesia, and remembering who we are
  • Why we’re here to unlearn, not learn
  • Addiction, recovery, and spiritual awakening
  • Intuition vs. fear: how to tell the difference
  • Karma, past lives, and clearing old patterns
  • Seeing life as a “cast of characters”

Episode Transcript:

Hi everyone, welcome back to the Viking Academy podcast. So this week on the podcast, I have Susan Stone. And for those of you that are watching the video side, I'm actually holding up a book that she wrote. It's called The Magical Nature of Humans, We Are More Than We Appear to Be.

I read the book before I had her on the podcast, which was really cool because then I got to know a little bit more about her and the work that she does. The we go down a bunch of different roads here. It's it's one of those one of those episodes that I unlock a bunch of understanding on what my role is in the universe and what I'm here to play and experience. We go very deep into the concept of the fact that we're all souls having amnesia and we're just here to experience life.

And that we're here unlocking and and one of the things that I fixed is one of the things that I picked up was that it's always been I they kept saying, "Well, what are we here to learn? What are we here to learn?" And it's actually not learning that we're doing. We're actually unlearning. We're unlearning the the mystery of life.

We're actually peeling things away that aren't us so that we can remember who we are. So, it's remembering who and what we are and what we're here to do, which is right in line with the Viking Academy ethos. She was struck by lightning. She's a recovered alcoholic.

She used to talk to fairies as a kid. She is a shaman. She has an incredible energy to her. Drops a couple curse words which makes me like her even more.

It's fantastic conversation. She also talked about the karmic wheel stopping in 2012, and I think you really want to pay attention to that part in the podcast. I'm going to go back and listen to it again myself to kind of reorientate myself on everything that we talked about. But, I hope you enjoy listening and watching the podcast with Susan Stone as much as I did recording it.

So, there you go. Without further ado, let's go explore. Welcome to the podcast, Susan. Thank you so much, Erik.

Glad to be here. Yeah. I was just just before we jumped on. I was I'm going to go jump right into this, but I've got a copy of your book and I've read it and I've marked up like crazy.

For those of you that are actually watching the video, I'm marking this up. You should see my notes and my highlights all over this. We got we got intro, well, we get introduced. So, Don Barden introduced me to Jackie Joy and Jackie Joy introduced me to you and then I reached out to you and you're like, "Yeah, bang." on the podcast.

So, this is the first time we've actually met each other, right? And I got I got a copy of your book, The Magical Nature of Humans, We Are More Than We Appear to Be by Susan Stone. I literally Yeah, I devoured it. I devoured the book.

I highlighted I wrote on it. Yeah. Okay. Where are we going to start though?

What's the story? Gosh, that's just music to an author's ear. I have to say, Erik, you know, for someone to highlight you or to underline or put you in their book club, you know, yeah, it's it's quite the compliment. Thank you.

Well, it's it is fantastic. And here's so here's an interesting thing. The first quote you have in the front of the book, the first quote from Mark Twain. It says, "The two more two most important days of your life are the day you were born and the day you find out why." Exactly.

That is like liquid gold. Like that is just oozing. Like I love that. That just sets the stage for the That's like That is the ethos of the Viking Academy, too, though.

Like I truly believe every one of us were put here for a reason, but we're the only species that does know why we're here. And so, but that's the adventure. That's the fun. Let's go explore and figure it out.

So, let's just keep exploring. So, for me, I just I'm so I'm I get so excited to just explore with a fellow explorer like yourself and learn and experience and contribute, right? That's I need answers, man. I don't know about you, but I need answers.

For me to be comfortable in my own skin, I need answers. And I tried looking outside and I didn't find them there. So when I went within, that's where I found that juicy communication and that juicy conversation that, you know, ended up in the book. Let's let's go a little bit.

Let's do the Scooby-Doo ending. You remember Scooby-Doo? You know, we're gonna go to the back. I want to go to the beginning and I want to go.

So where when when did you tap into your magical nature like when how like let's go back in time and say like you were checking you're looking for answers outside because that's what I've been doing. I've been looking for answers outside. It's not until I started tapping in and I'm just I'm just coming to a point of expanded awareness around of a bunch of different items like it just it seems like it's a never-ending story. It's just you learn expand and you expand and expand expand.

You're like, "Okay, now I've got it. I'm enlightened." And then next week you're like, "Boy, I had no idea what I was talking about last week. Like I don't know what like it's people think that enlightenment is a discovery and it's not. It's a memory.

It's our memories. As our memories come back, that's what enlightens us is remembering that we are sovereign. Remembering that we are souls, remembering we've been here before, remembering this is our cast of characters. That's what brings us the enlightenment.

It's not learning anything. We're not here to learn anything. We are We are immortal. We've been around the block thousands and thousands of times.

We know all of this stuff already, but we have to go through the unknowing in order to play the game of human. So, we have to forget completely who we are. And the whole game is about remembering that. The for me that's what I think the whole game is about is remembering who we are.

Stepping into that knowledge and that knowing of who we really truly are so that we can look at our family and our friends and our co-workers as our cast of characters. So we can look at people as playing their part instead of being broken or mean or you know rude or whatever that is. When you can get that knowing that you are part of a big play so to speak and that we predetermined who our cast of characters was going to be. We also predetermined the contrast like who was going to be the jerk in our life, who was going to really bring us pain, who was really going to challenge us.

And that's the man that's the that's the juice. That's the good stuff. And once we get past our forgetting and start remembering, that's when we start getting happy, you know, that's when we start getting really joyful. That's that's the No, that's that's I had Kris Land on the podcast a while ago.

He had wrote a book called the defininity within infinity within and him and I started on that conversation and it was I had a conversation with a friend of mine Don Barden again the connection that brought us together. Well I was walking down the path with him and I turned and I talked to him and I said you know really we're just a bunch of souls that took an amnesia pill and we're down here playing a game that we forgot we had said we were going to play. And he turns and looks at me and goes what? And I was like, and then I kind of it faded away and I didn't really think about it again until just recently, like literally in the last few months, it's finally come back to me and I've gone, "Oh, oh, oh." And then and I was like now all of a sudden just to your point I've actually looked at people who are the adversaries in my life and gone I look at them as like actors and going my god you need an Oscar for that one cuz you've playing the role of an [ __ ] just to the best ability.

My god you're just you are the a pinnacle of [ __ ] Like you're so good at that. Yeah. You are so good at playing that. Yeah.

You're so good at playing that. Right. And that's why they get confused when I smile at them now. So when somebody is being a jerk to me, I get this big smile on my face because I'm like, "Oh, you did that." So well, you know, like you almost fooled me.

I almost forgot who you were in that moment. So right. Yeah. But it's like we've got this inside that we inside information or inside joke that everybody else seems to be oblivious to.

So, you know, we're just laughing our way to, you know, back to eternity. Yes. Having so having so much fun. So, for yourself, so again, let's go back to like, have you always had this awareness or was this something that came along?

I literally remember being standing on a chair in the bathroom in our place on on Rosson Place which would have put me around kindergarten and standing on the stool to brush my teeth and looking in the mirror and going Susan is not your true identity and earth is not your home. And that dawned on me that I was wearing the identity of Susan and that I look like my people, but they're not really my people. I truly had felt like I had been dropped off and someone forgot to pick me up. So, I have felt this homesickness my entire life.

I've just never felt truly placed in the role of Susan. I always have somehow known that was something I was playing or something I was wearing. And as a little kid, I was the rare little child, the weird little kid that could feel everybody's medical conditions. And I just thought it was impolite to talk about it.

So, somebody would come into a room, you'd have a family gathering. I knew whose back hurt, whose knee hurt, who had a stomach upset. And I thought since nobody else was talking about it, then it must be impolite because a child assumes that what they feel is what other people feel. What they see is what other people see.

And if they hear things, it's what other people hear. So I'd come bursting through the doors after climbing trees all day and talk about all the fairies that I met and all the things that they taught me about how trees talk to each other and how this fungus goes underneath the soil, which I just saw a documentary on that within the last year. So, but as a little kid, I knew these things because the trees told me and because the spirits that I climbed with, I sat up there for hours and hours and hours. I spent so much time with nature spirits.

They started to trust me, show themselves to me, and then I went on to spend 30 years as a professional gardener. So, they were preparing me for my time out in nature. But when I talked about that, my family would threaten me and say, "You cannot talk do do not tell anybody that." They'll lock you up. They'll put you away.

And they made me afraid to admit that I knew what I knew. I could do what I could do. And I understood what I understood because I did not know. I didn't learn this from them.

For sure. I did not learn this from them. Okay. Okay.

So, so you so you used to see fairies when you were a kid and talk to fairies and you were afraid to talk to your parents about it. You wouldn't like were your parents told you not to is what you said. Oh, they threatened me not to. They said people would take me away and lock me away forever.

Right. Not allowed to talk about that. Right. And so you stopped talking about it.

Oh, I stopped talking about it, but I didn't stop seeing them, right? I sold I saw them the whole 30 years I was a professional gardener. I saw them. I still see them.

Right. I still see them. Wow. And so this was something that was with you from the beginning.

You were told not to do it, so you kept seeing it. When did you Oh, here's the thing. When did you quote unquote step out of the closet and finally just go, it's time to bring my my healing or my teachings and my healings to the world? Like, when was it time for you to step out and and actually be you there?

Or the or the shell step out and be Susan, shall I say, not you because you're not Susan. I would have to say in 1997 I got sober and I was my real self for the first time. So I was, you know, raised by people with addictions and I, you know, it's the only disease that runs in my whole family on both sides. And I had something terrible happen to me when I was 12 years old.

And I did not draw another sober breath until I was almost 40. So I tried to shut the voices down. I tried to stop seeing what I saw. I didn't realize I was using alcohol to desensitize myself because the world was I was empathic and I didn't know what that meant.

I didn't know what that was. But I was feeling way more than other people were feeling. And I was responding to things much more than the average person was. The person next to me was not nearly as distressed as I was about the frequencies or the sound or the energy in the room.

And so I didn't even know what that meant until I had been sober a few years. I had to wake up first so and come to so I could wake up. And that's that's kind of where it started for me because that's almost started immediately. I knew things immediately that I could use to help other people with their recovery.

I ran a meditation meeting because I felt that was the foundation of our sanity that if we don't go within, we'll go without. And so I was helping other people who said I can't meditate to get quiet and still and so they could hear the guidance, you know. I was adopted into the Cherokee Nation in my 50th year. So I did my vision quest with them.

And the vision quest is traditionally done to teach teenagers the difference between the voice that taunts them from the voice that guides them. They traditionally send these teenagers out into the forest for three days and three nights. An elder watches over them so they know they can be seen. They just don't know who's watching them.

They are trusted to stay in this 12-oot circle with usually only water and maybe a sleeping bag or a blanket or something because they're out there for 3 days and they're not allowed to sing or talk. They have to stay in silence and again they think they're being watched. So they pretty much go with the program out of you know believing that someone can is watching their every move whether they are or not. I did my vision quest on the in the mountains of Georgia with grandfather Yellow Horseman and it was profound.

I've never been the same since. So, this is where you and I have a kindred spirit. Okay. So, I'm also a recovering alcoholic as well, addict.

About I got 18 years under my belt so far. And it's been a constant seeking of a higher power, right? Seeking that higher power and finding that voice that guides me and tells me where to go. The thing that really jumped out at me here was the difference and discernment is the one thing that I really I've always thought about.

You know, the serenity prayers grant me the the serenity to accept the things I cannot change, the courage to change the things I can, but the wisdom to know the difference. It's the wisdom to know the difference which is the is the is the key, right? And it's that and especially when in my experience is as I've started actually it's farther along in the beginning it's so bry I completely surrendered and I heard the voice and I listened and I did what it said and everything went smoothly and it was all good as I have come along I guess I hear more voices I hear more shall we guidance but I'm always going okay is this the right are you like are you the are you Loki? Are you the trickster?

Are you just trying to [ __ ] with me? Like I have that question in my head that is it the voice that's taunting me or is it the voice that's really guiding me? And it's the dissemination is the discernment between those two inner voices. It's like is this the voice of my shall we call it my three-dimensional heavy ego wanting to go and do something or is it actually my soul my higher power telling me no this is the route to take right and so that's that how do you how does the listener disseminate between the two something I've heard from a very wise friend of mine is if it feels yucky it is yucky if it feels is good.

It is good. O the I think the minute I stopped believing in some malevant spirit that was after me. I stopped experience I stopped experiencing temptation when I stopped giving that thought power and giving it a personality. You know, the god of my childhood had to be replaced by my current understanding because the god of my childhood terrified me.

My grandparents told me they hated that god hated left-handed children. And so I was afraid I was going to burst into flames every time I went into church on Sunday. I was so terrified of God that I prayed to Mother Mary who had we had a picture of the sacred heart of Mary in our bedroom hallway. And I knew she had a weird kid because they crucified him.

And so I knew she would understand me. So Mary was my go-to in prayer. I was raised Catholic. I loved Mary.

I played Mary in the first grade nativity. I totally connected to her. I wore blue towel on my head with a headband for like two weeks. And I was a really devotional kid, man.

I was really devotional. I love holy candles. I still light holy candles. I still when I don't know how to help somebody, I just hold them in the light and I light a candle for them.

It was one of my favorite things about the Catholic Church was holy candles and rosaries. So I wear malas. I still I still say the rosary in a different little in a way in a maybe a little slightly different way, slightly different prayers, but I use it to keep my count and to keep my concentration and to stay in that in that meditative state. So, I've I've taken quite a bit with me from the Catholicism I was raised in.

Three of my aunts were nuns. My cousin is still a priest in Peru. I was raised by people who did charitable works and were feeding the poor and clothing the you know the homeless and really being good Samaritans in the world and being of service. My mom and I had our first hospice patient 42 years ago.

And so I was taught how to be of service. And it wasn't until, you know, recent events that happened in the Catholic church that my mom left because our priest was one of the offending ah moisters. And then a bishop came in and made excuses for him. And she left.

She left and called a rabbi. She did. She just she had a rabbi friend and she wanted to study with him instead. She just so Go ahead.

No, I was just You just said something there that really kind of resonated with me is the minute you stopped thinking of a malevolent thinking that there was a malevolent energy or God or a devil. The minute you stop believing that there was a devil, the devil disappeared. Absolutely. There there's never been another temptation.

Never. It doesn't exist in my world. I didn't know I got to choose my own reality. I didn't know there were like almost 8 billion realities happening simultaneously.

And so I'm choosing the realities that make me feel joy, that make me help me sleep at night, that make me feel good, you know? Okay. So, you just said another thing there. Okay.

So, I've often joked with my friends. I said, you know, this whole thing with the multiverse, I think I said, I think the multiverse is real. I said, because I listen to people talk and I see two people watch the same event happen and they have completely different reactions to it. One person's like, "Yeah, it's awesome." The other person's like, "Oh my god, that's the most horrible thing in the world." Politics.

We've become even more bifurcated like the extreme left and extreme right there like how can two quote unquote well I'm I'm going out on a limb here same sane humans because we're not but how can two people see the same event and have such a different experience I'm like well because they're in different universes they're different realities they're see we are seeing what we want to see and you're experiencing it differently so of course this person thinks it's horrible and this one thinks it's wonderful because in this reality it is horrible and the other reality it is wonderful. Do you know what I mean like from their perspective? Well the multiplex explains the mandala effect how thousands of people can remember history in one way and thousands of other remember it a different way. We are on two different realities.

You know, they say that Egg Mc Ed McMahon had nothing to do with Publishers Clearing House. That he didn't go to people's houses with big checks and balloons and go to knock on people's doors. It happened in my childhood. Oh, me too.

I remember that. I remember that. Okay. Well, apparently that did not happen.

If you Google that today, did Ed McMahon have anything to do with Publishers Clearing House? It will say no. The current zeicist or the current reality in the algorithm is that did not happen. So we you and I are part of a small population that remembers that being true and the Mandala effect was named after Nelson Mandala because part of the population remembered him dying in prison and part of the population remembered him being released from p prison.

So both are right. Both experienced something different and so the multiplex is trying to show itself to us so that we really understand what we are involved with. So thank you Stan Lee and thank you Marvel Comics for introducing us and giving us a word for what we've been experiencing always. We have always experienced this.

We just didn't have a word for it. Now we're calling it the multiplex. And the more we talk about the multiplex, the more that becomes a reality for us. It's like quantum physics.

I've been a Raiki master and I've been in practice for 25 years. I didn't understand until I started studying quantum physics that's the level at which the healing happens. So when I my eyesight was restored within 60 minutes, you know from my book, I was struck by lightning. It went up both of my eyes.

Five eye surgeries almost blinded me in less than 60 minutes. My eyesight was restored up to 85 to 90%. That quickly and it was a quantum healing session. I was in the room with 20 other healers and I could not see anybody because it was in such a bright sun porch.

I had to cover my eyes and look at their shoes to identify who I was talking to. I could not look at light or be in a bright room and see. Everything would turn white. So, I could see better in a dark room or with dark glasses on.

I sat up after that 50 minutes and I could see every person in the room. I burst into tears. I didn't know what happened. I didn't understand how that happened.

But and my eye surgeons can't ex explain it. Two months ago, I was released from their care because I read the line below 2020. They don't know why I got better. Macular degeneration is not curable.

According to them, what I experienced was irreversible eye damage, nerve damage to my eyes. And yet, I can see perfectly now. Right? You know, my little cheaters here are 1.5s.

Well, I'm 67 and I can read a text without my glasses on, but it causes wrinkles. So, so I try not to squint. Yeah. Yeah.

I've I've got these little puppies all over the house. I did. Sure. I did.

Yeah. I've got these little puppies all over the house just for a little bit of help. This So I just want to come back to this that I got to come back to what you said there. The minute you stopped believing in the devil or a malevolent god, it ceased to exist.

Yeah. The power of choice. This is the power of the choice that you chose to no longer believe. Once you chose and felt it in your heart that it's not it's not there, it disappeared.

Like it disappeared. I had this awareness the other day like I have I've had pockets of just this understanding that's beyond words and I go whoa. Oh, I get it. And then it goes away.

Like that's what's been that's been been my experience, right? But the one that happened where I was looking at everybody going, "Oh, this is just one big we're just all pretending to play these different parts and all of a sudden I didn't have any anger or animosity to towards anybody. I actually felt love towards every single being I looked at." And all of a sudden I was like, "Oh, now all the readings that I've and the spiritual texts that I've, you know, because we're seeking a higher power, right?" So in step 11, sought through prayer and meditation to improve my conscious contact with God, praying only for knowledge of his will for us and the power to carry the world's a treasure trove. So I've been studying the Nissa Gadata Maharaj.

I've done the, you know, the bag of Gita, the Bible, the Culbrron Bible, the bronze text. That you know all of these different they're all pointing to the same thing and there this unconditional love where you see everyone as yourself and that whole framing of we all gave ourselves amnesia came down here we're just playing a parts just to experience this like that's it well as a as a really curious human being and I just have been from birth I just need to understand the world around me and how I fit into this world. Yeah. It was through my studies that I realized that Jews don't have a hell that in Judaism there is no such thing as the devil or hell.

That was created by the Christians. There is no shocker there. No shocker. There's no hell in the Old Testament.

And I mean, as a as a as an ordained minister myself, I'm like, how did I overlook that? How did I overlook that? There is no setup like that in the Old Testament. And now I'm studying Aramaic because Yeshua never talks about it.

If if if if our salvation was dependent upon us believing in a devil or a hell, you think Yeshua or Jesus would have mentioned it. And he doesn't ever does he ever mention it. It is just not in there. And now I'm studying Aramaic so that I can understand the teachings he actually delivered to the people who only understood Aramaic.

He never spoke Hebrew or Greek. And so now that I'm doing some work in into ancient languages so I can understand that, it's actually going to be important for my next book. Oh, cool. So the for me to understand true translations, I have to really be a an observer without an agenda because if that story has to fit my narrative, then I'm tweaking facts.

I am distorting the writings and so I just want it straight. I just need to understand what actually happened to the actual people and to be able to understand this great teacher and this ascended master understand it in the language that he was speaking not through the view of the Nikian council the 300 bishops that Constantine group you know collected for his own political for his own political agenda. So once we start getting rid of political agendas and social idioms or cultural idioms, then we can really start looking at facts and this little scientist has got to really understand what really did happen. And so I'm going back to the sources.

I'm I'm I'm really suspicious of anybody who is playing a narrative. They're trying to get me to hate someone else or to be afraid of something. So that's why I don't watch the news. I grew up with Walter Kronhite and Dan Rather and people who reported news and not all this editorialism, you know, that trying to get us to hate someone or or view someone through a really specific lens.

And as soon as someone's trying to change my mind about something, they are shut off. I I can make up my own mind. Thank you. And if you're trying to get me to hate a certain person or a group of people, then you've got an agenda that does not include the all.

And as a shaman, that is the foundation. It's all inclusive. We are not exclusive. We are honoring every expression of life.

Everybody deserves respect. Everybody deserves our respect. And so I that's how I try to come operate from that perspective. And you know, I am the first to admit how naive I have been.

And I'm a little embarrassed just in front of myself, not to anybody else, but some of the choices I have made, some of the things I have put in that ballot box, I have been like, "Wow, really?" You find out who they really are and you're like, "God, how could I have been so how could I have been so moved by that speech that I forgot about my discernment?" you know that I got so caught up in their tale that I adopted it as mine. And you know, gosh, there's no way I would go back to being a young woman again. There is no no way. I am I appreciate so much what it has taught me.

And I'm still not very skeptical, but I'm much more discerning than I used to be. Definitely much more discerning. It takes another extra minute to fool me now. But but on that same thread, when I've what I've found lately is that when I catch myself forgetting because that's all I think about it is just I just forgetting and I got caught up into their story and I got caught up into the drama.

Once I recognize it, I've gone I've almost laughed to myself and went, "Oh, good. I've got me again." like I got not not they got me again I got me again it's like this one of the things that one of the overriding messages I got from this and that we are more powerful we are more than we appear to be in the magical nature of h humans and this is what I extracted from it was that I am so powerful as a being as a being of God like I am God that I've fooled myself into thinking I'm Not that's how powerful I am. I have the ability to give myself amnesia. And so when when that is that's like I was like oh my god that is the ultimate cosmic joke.

It's like I am so powerful I gave myself amnesia. Yeah. And so when I get caught up into I'm almost thinking it as juiciness. Do you know what I mean?

Like when you get caught up into the emotional fervor of something and then once you pop back out of it and look at it and you go that was actually really juicy. I obviously this is why I'm having fun doing this because I get in there I forget who I am and I get sucked up into the it's like remember the soap opera or soap daytime soap operas, right? Or like oh yeah my mom used to watch Days of Our Lives General Hospital All My Children. All My Children.

So when I was sick at home from school or when I was a little kid, my mom would be watching these things and I'd be sitting there kind of going, I don't understand it. And then a little bit older, I was like sick in like my teens or whatever and I'm sitting there and I'm watching this thing and you get sucked into it for a couple and then all a sudden you pop back out and you go, why do people watch this crap? Oh, I wonder what they're doing tomorrow. And then you got to watch tomorrow because now you're sucked in, right?

It's like you get sucked into the drama because it's almost like it's entertainment. Oh, we get lost in our own story, Erik. Yeah, we get lost in our own identity and we take it so personally and we just suffer from the abuse that we had, you know, that we took the way people have spoken to us or you know, whether we, you know, got fired from a job or whether we thought we lost the love of our life, that we blew this relationship and I just really messed it up and I'll never be happy now because I [ __ ] this up, you know, and we just get so caught up in our own what we call mistakes which are so scheduled by us. Anything that any major tragedy in your life, you have scheduled it because you wanted to learn something from it.

You know, we all want to be the dog that got kicked and the guy that kicked the dog. As souls, we know this is a blink of time and we will sign up for just about anything for the experience because we've not tried that before. And as immortals, 80, 90 years is a blink of time. And we're not at all afraid to lose an arm or to have a stroke or to you know, lose a child or lose our parents.

You know, we will do this until it doesn't hurt us anymore. We will go through these things. Well, no, that's not true. We're doing this to ascend.

That's the ultimate goal is to become an ascended master and to go on to use our skills to help other planets and civilizations get past their adolescence. So, we are trying all of these these these trials in order to make ourselves a well-rounded experienced soul. New souls are the same age as us. We've just been here more times.

We haven't sat back on the bleachers watching and trying to learn through other people's mistakes. We've actually been boots on the ground, experiencing it ourselves because the experience is very different. What you read, the lesson you read in a book that somebody else had is a has a very different impact than experiencing it yourself. So the bench sitters, you know, on the other side who would rather not come and get dirty, who would rather not come and get broken, who would rather just watch us do it.

Those are the young souls. So when they incarnate, they are looking for fame, fortune, and really good looks. They just get to the end of those lives and they're so disappointed by how empty they were. You know, we stop wanting to be gorgeous.

We stop wanting to be rich. We stop wanting to be famous because we've learned over and over and over that people who come in with those lives don't know who to trust. They never find happiness. Most of them don't find h true happiness.

And so us experienced ones that come back and back and back quickly. We recycle pretty quickly. We are the really curious souls that are really striving to get this thing right and so that we can ascend so that we can really be of more use as guides. We'll come back as human guides and you know we'll we'll help the rest of the population kind of get with the program.

So there's there's reasons why we choose really hard stuff. And actually we are in a period of time where I personally believe that everybody on the planet right now are pretty advanced souls. It's going to take a really advanced soul to help this old world pass away, to help these old paradigms self-destruct. And it's going to take really brave souls to be the first ones out in front saying all is well.

No matter what chaos there is in our world, it's time for us to be in the world and not of the world. Let's help those that are really confused and those who are deeply asleep so they can find their joy, too. This is all going to go much faster once everybody wakes up. Yeah.

Yeah. I've I've had a very very clear knowing that for humanity to maint for humanity to continue on, for this game to continue on, there has to be an there has to be a upgrade to the programming. Like our program, we've been programmed, we've been so programmed to react and behave in ways that are just it's absolutely [ __ ] insane. Like it just like insanity of behavior.

But for just on a physical three-dimensional level like for the human for humanity to actually continue, we need an upgrade to our consciousness. Well, we'll call it enlight we need to be more enlightened. We need to upgrade our programming because we're running on old programming, right? And and I see that more and more that it's been a conditioned programming that's happened over my lifetime.

But I'm understanding more and more it's actually karmic not karmic residue but I've carrying karma from a past lives. So the work I do a lot of work with a lot of energy healers and spiritual guides and and so the work that I've been doing and they've told me about my past lives and I've cut cords and I've Jackie actually told me that the other day. She when I talked to Jackie Joy, she goes, she goes, "Oh, Erik, I'm get picking up. You need to cut some cords.

Next time you work with Denise Graham, have you met Denise Grahams?" I don't think so. Okay, Jackie, I think Jackie and her and her daughter have been working with Denise. I introduced Denise to Dawn and the group. She said, "You need next time you work with Denise, you need to cut cut some cords.

Tell Denise that." I'm like, "Oh, okay, fine." So she told me and she did energy work on me and then it was the next following day and she couldn't kind of remove she said something's wrong with me. I can't quite figure this out. She was working on herself and then she realized it was residue from me. She had to do some more work and did a past life regression on me where I was actually on Orion and I was actually part of a collective like we're collective conscious and something negative happened there and I carried this guilt and burden to this lifetime and she said that needed so I cut those cords for you and ever since that happened all of a sudden like I was like oh right because I've always felt like it's my fault.

You ever feel like like as a kid I always felt there was a I had a problem or a fault that I would it was my fault that this was going on and as soon as that happened all of a sudden I was like oh I feel better now and I say I don't feel like it is my fault like it's like that cleansing that clearing that channel right so that was not only this lifetime of conditioning and collection of experiences and programming but past life programming that has come with me in the next iteration. So the reincarnation and now I'm back in here. That's a big part of the work right now is clearing up this karmic debris. Yeah.

Unfinished business. Yeah. And that's that has been really really important work in the time that we are in right now because this can't go forward with us. This is not going into new world with us.

We are finishing up the Piscian age. This is not going any further. In fact, the karmic wheel came to a stop in 2012. Not many people have talked about this, but we are all bound by the law of physics.

What goes around comes around. With every action, there's an equal and opposite reaction. Well, thousands of years ago, or however many years ago, when the karmic wheel started, people were still living for centuries. So the fact that you rob somebody and then a hundred years later you find yourself robbed, you would within that lifetime understand my actions created this reaction.

Well, when life lifetimes lifespan started to shorten down to 60, 80, 90 years, you rob somebody in in a life 200 years ago and you come home now and find your place ransacked and you're going to think, "What the hell? I'm a nice guy. How in the hell did that happen to me?" That's not karma. That, you know, I didn't do anything to deserve that.

So, this stopped making sense a long time ago. And so, from what I understand, my one of my master teachers, Marian Starns, talked to me about the karmic wheel and that every child born after 2012 will come in with no karma. They will come in clean slate and they will live by the laws of physics. For every action, there's an equal and opposite reaction, which means a very quick return on your energy.

You go around slapping the crap out of people and someone's going to come back and smack you, you know? So, you do this and then then that a couple of times, you go, "Wait a minute. Every time I do that, I get this." Yes. So, you'll put two and two together and understand that is a reaction to your behavior.

The old karma was not making sense anymore. It had to come to an end. That had to stop which created this field of debris that we clear up at each lifetime. So if you for you were clearing up a past life because you had not finished either your amends, you hadn't made your peace with it, you hadn't healed from it.

So you had to come in with that and it was meant for you to be rid of it. Now the Aquarian age is not going to support this karmic debt. That is Piscian age. That is all survival of the fittest.

That is all this competitive masculine energy. And that's not going to fly anymore. We are no longer going to build empires on the backs of slaves. We will not tolerate that behavior anymore.

In fact, this age that has is waning is leaving us is going to come to be known as the age of barbarians. And the age we are moving into is the age of humanitarians. So keep your eye on the energy of the kids coming in. They know more than we've ever taught them.

They are coming in as Raiki masters. I just attuned five kids a couple weeks ago. They're going to run the animal clinic. The youngest was seven.

The oldest was 15. These kids are coming in with hot hands. The animals just melted in their laps when they when this little seven-year-old had this arthritic old dog on her lap and he just oh as she put her hot little hands on his hips, man. It was incredible to see.

But my point being, we who built up this karma that needed to be healed have reincarnated to get that all dealt with. I have been dealing with Native American curses that cursed the white people when they were invaded, when their lands were invaded. I have been dealing with the gulligi and the slave energy here in the southeast. You know people who are carrying this old energy and the memory of being slaves themselves.

I mean people who come in with these wounds or these pains in their body from being whipped or these wounds or these constrictions around their neck from being hung. They are these are it's physical trauma that's coming out in their body that was that happened a long time ago. And we know from shows like The Ghost Inside My Child with the Chip Coffee that they can actually prove these children were the people because they know them by name. They know what job they did.

They know exactly how they died. These kids are coming in and they are not asleep. They are wide awake and they are telling their parents, "You're my new parents. That my old parents lived in Pennsylvania.

I lived on such and such a street." There are some kids that are coming back so quick that their families are still alive that they can there's a kid in India who who missed his mother so badly convinced his modern-day family in America to go to India because his mother was still alive and dog gone it she was. Now she knew from the smell of this child's head that it was her son. Even though he was in a completely different body she knew it was her son. And because the culture believes in reincarnation, it wasn't a big stretch, but it was just incredible, you know.

So, we can with our new modern technologies, we're actually able to prove reincarnation. We're able to prove past lives. We are able to measure things that we couldn't measure before. And it's we're just in a brand new world.

And all that crap talking about, that's that's in the rearview mirror. That's going away very quickly. Very very quickly in our lifetime, Erik, we will see clearly see the foundation of new earth. We're going to see sustainable practices.

We're going to see our oceans clearing up. We're going to see the bioneers coming up with more ways of cleaning up our land and our water. We're going to I mean, these kids are going to come up with innovations. It is We have so much to look forward to.

So much to look forward to. Nothing's irreversible. We're going to fix all of this. It's all actually done.

We're just going to watch it happen. Now, my being is I was going to say my brain is exploding right now because everything you're saying is I'm like connecting the dots between so many different experiences and this whole this whole Okay, where do I go? Okay, so the Viking Academy is born out of curiosity and exploration. And it's like I just have this phrase that kept coming up yesterday.

It just says just keep exploring. Like just keep exploring. Just keep exploring. Keep being curious.

Just keep looking, looking, looking. What you're saying makes so much sense to me. And I'm just going to take one example from the world that I'm working in, which is business. So I do business coaching.

I'm noticing a trend with businesses that people are no longer like the business owners are complaining, a kid, we can't get kids to work hard these days. They don't have work ethic and blah blah blah blah blah. They're all like, no, they want they want freedom and expansion. But I'm seeing I'm sensing a new model of entrepreneurialism that's based on the hierarchical here's your boss, there's your manager, this person manages this, and it's teams of fives, right?

They manage, manage, manage. I've said this to I've said this to my wife, I've said it to who's my business partner, I've said it to my other business partners. I've said it to everybody when I'm coaching them. I said, I don't manage anybody.

I don't manage people. It's never felt right to me to have to manage another human being to make them do what I want them to do for my business. And I've always found business to be so difficult because we're trying to force people to do what we want them to do as opposed to there's an And I can't quite get my head wrapped. Well, I can feel it.

There's a way of having a business come together where everyone's working together to make something amazing happen, but we're not managing one another and it's just cohesive. Like it feels cohesive where it's just and we're all just making it happen. There's no na I don't need to manage you. You don't need to manage me.

It's not a hierarchy. Everybody knows the goals. Everybody knows that like and we're just moving and we're just creating this thing together because it's it's fun and energizing and joyful and it serves everybody. You know, we're going to we can see a really clear division in humanity right now.

Those who are here to serve one another, those who are here to serve others, and those who are here to serve themselves. I think it's very clear who's here to serve themselves and who is here to be of service to others. And I think the population is getting very savvy. I think that I mean, I had a client yesterday say, "I can't believe you have a sliding scale.

Like, I can't afford to pay $120 a session." and Susan, you know, your scale starts at $5. And I said, because there are people who can't afford 10, and so I want to be available to everybody, I want to make sure everyone can afford me. And I promise you that for every person who makes me gluten-free cookies or can only put five bucks in the basket, the next person pays me double. It is the craziest thing, man.

You can't lose at this thing. When you know that you are serving humanity to the best of your ability, it's you don't do it because it comes back to you. That's just the natural way of things. That's back to physics.

For every action, there's an equal and opposite reaction. The level of your generosity is matched and then some. So you can continue this good work. So I just it's business.

You talk about business, man. I am not wired for it. I am not wired to manage other people. I just had my Ayurvedic chart and she goes, "Oh god, Susan, no wonder you can't manage people.

You have no PA. You are all air. You are only in your body half the time and you are all earth." She said, "You're not wired to mar to manage other people." And I went, "Then I can just relax. I'll find a volunteer who will love to manage other people." Yes.

You know, yes. I or I'll find that person is waiting for me to ask them to do this because I'm not wired for that. I don't have the bandwidth for it. And now I know I'm physically not wired to do that.

So I feel much better. It's not about me trying harder or trying another yet another way to do this. This is the business I've had, actually my third, but public businesses. And now I know why people said, "You're terrible at running a business." Well, I make money anyway.

I mean, I don't have a business degree. I had two ladies that worked for me that had a business degree that thought I was an idiot, but I was a happy idiot and I was a nice idiot. And they found humor most of the time in the way I ran the store. I had a little crystal store that I ran and had two buildings to manage and I needed people to help me after I got struck by lightning and so I had to have people help me run my store.

And quite frankly, I'm just like you. I don't want to tell anybody what to do. No. It's like, isn't it obvious?

Oh, when someone comes in, you wait on them. If something's empty, you fill it back up. I don't have to micromanage anybody. I shouldn't have to tell you to close the door or you know I shouldn't have to say those things and so I don't manage other people.

I just don't find it's too heavy. It's too heavy. It's heavy. It's manipulative.

It's just too much. It's too much work. It really is. It's like it's it's energy that I just don't want to expend.

Do you know what I mean? Like it's it's Well, do you want to be managed by somebody? Oh, no. I'm the wor No, no, no, no, no.

I cannot have a boss. No, no, no. I am unemployable. I've said that.

I've said that. I've said it so many times. It's like I am like and I go, look, if you want me to not do something or if you want me to do something, tell me not to do it. Not to do it.

I know. If you tell me not to do something, I'll do it out of spite because you told me not to. Like there's that stubbornness in me. But you're also going to do things your way.

It's always because it feels right. Yes. Because that's that's the kicker for me. It's I'm also very much so I became a chartered accountant, but I understand now that was a contract in the womb with my mother because she was like wanted to be a teacher and I but I'm a I'm like people meet me and they're like you're a what?

You're a you're a what? And I said no. I said I'm a recovered accountant and they don't know because you and I know that there's an inside joke there. There's a more of an inside joke there.

I'm a recovered accountant. I've recovered from accounting. I haven't done a tax return in 18 years on my honor. Okay.

But I'm an I'm a musician. I play in a heavy metal band. I love being on stage. I love entertaining.

I love coaching. And but it's it's what feels right. I have this sometimes I have this battle between my thinking brain, my analytical intellect, and my heart. There's like a sometimes does this because it's like, oh, this feels right.

This is what I want to do. No, no, no. That's don't be be be reasonable, Erik. Do this.

That's the way to do it. Business is da da d d d d d d d d d d d d d d d d d d d d d d d d d d d d d d d d d d d d d d d d and then I'll read a book and it'll go, yeah, no, you need to do da da da. And I'm like, yes, go over there. And then I'll switch back over to the beautiful book like here, the magical nature of humans.

And I'm like, of course, I love Susan. I already love you. I was reading the book and I'm like, oh, I can't wait to have her on the podcast. This is going to be lovely and this is fun.

Like there's that's that's my heart sing. Like people are like, "Yeah, how many of these podcasts you do?" And I said, "As many as I can. I love them." Like it's so much fun, you know? But it's that cerebral heart battle that happens sometimes and until I go, "Ah, it's not a battle.

It's just I've just forgotten again." Did anyone ever tell you that you had to if you had to choose one thing and do one thing well to be successful? Did someone ever tell you that? I've Yes, I have had there that you need to do the one thing like the people that have done the best in the world do the one thing and just that's the one thing and do that one thing and that one thing only. Don't you wonder how they picked one thing out of all the things that we could possibly do that would bring us so much joy and a lot of things make money.

So, it's not even that you have to. But when they told me that I could only do one thing, I said, "Well, then I'm going to be an artist." And they said, "Well, you can't pick that." Well, why? Because all artists are poor. Well, that didn't sound true to me.

You know, I got to call [ __ ] on that. That's not true. That just can't be true. So, I decided it wasn't true.

And I have made a career out of being an artist. Now, I was doing landscape design and garden design and it, you know, I taught fine art, you know, on the side and did other things, but I've I've had a whole career and now I own an art school. So, I've had an entire career of expressing myself as an artist when my people said, "You can't do that. You won't ever make any money.

You'll be poor all your life." I mean, they were trying to convince me that it was not a logical career choice. And that's all there was for me. I'm a creative person. I mean, I've been drawing since I was a little kid.

I was dyslexic. I was ADHD. I was not going to be able to follow the same path my brilliant sisters followed. I couldn't even read.

You know, I was in college before a professor had me turning my artwork around to find where it was flawed, where it was out of balance or the colors needed to more color someplace else. You turn your paintings around. Something switched in my brain in college and I read for pleasure for the first time and it nothing could have shocked my family more than for me to write my first novel, right? I mean, it came out of my hands.

It's like we're It's like we're living the same lifestyle. We're we're two we're two we're mirror souls here because everything you're talking about is bang on for me too because I like I hated to read. I didn't like reading and I'm a published author author now as well. And like what you wrote a what?

I'm like I wrote a book and I guess there's another one bubbling inside of me too that's like and I'm like really I'm going to write and I'm like I remember the first birthing process. It wasn't fun. Like I'm not so sure I want to do it. I want to the next time I write a next book, I want it to be easy, fun, light, simple, like right, easy, fun, and lucrative.

That's like for me. But like where huh? Like how did that happen? Well, it did.

So this one thing you're talking about just having that one that one area for me I found that I have an expression like I in strategic coaches that's where Don Barden and I met is through strategic coach is that Dan Sullivan talks about unique ability and he says finding out what your unique ability is and doing just that finding other people with other unique abilities combining them to have create unique ability teamwork and you never manage people because they're everyone someone's expressing who they are and they're never h have they're not working they're playing so to speak right it's it's this joyful like I think strategic coach is the world's one of the world's greatest spiritual philosophical programs wrapped in a business blanket people don't realize that there's phys philosophical and spiritual truths baked into the whole it's all that's the whole firm framework of it right yeah this is the future you guys are pioneers but they don't but It's not talked about openly, but it's it's the it's like the underlying, you know what I mean? Like it's the underlying joke. Well, Dan finally came out and talked about his energy healer that he works with, Daniel White. He brought him up on stage and talked to him at the last session.

I'm like, "Oh, it's starting to happen." Like it's starting, we're starting to talk about it like openly, right? But this this sorry, the unique ability channels. So there's channels for you to do your unique value contribution. Another good friend of mine, Chad Jenkins, he's beautiful man, very tapped in.

He talks about quantum vision and dimensional vision awareness. He goes, everything exists all at once. He said it's just do you have quantum vision to see what it is and collapse it down into this reality. So he talks about it being collaborations is the way of the future.

It's all collaborations. We're all just collaborating with one another. So it's it's there's a couple things now. I'm going on a little couple splinters here.

For my apologies. But it's like this my unique value contribution can be in different channels. So I play in a heavy metal band. I'm a father.

I'm a husband. I'm a friend. I'm a businessman. I'm a coach.

I'm like all these and people I've heard a couple people say to me, it's like, "Oh my god, Erik, how many things are you doing?" Like, "How do you do that?" Blah blah blah blah blah. And I'm like, "I feel like I'm playing. You're still like you're just you're having fun. Like it's just fun.

Yeah. You're shining. You're just shining and chasing joy. And whatever wherever you feel joy, you turn towards that and say yes.

You keep yesing the world. And that's what's bringing you this incredible experience that you're calling life. You know, think about the people who are too afraid to leave their house or too afraid to step outside of their church or too afraid to upset or disappoint somebody. Their world gets so tiny and so narrow.

And so with that narrow world comes a very narrow mind. And that's what makes you know people dangerous and judgmental. And you were talking earlier about the condition of our world and you know until we can start practicing radical acceptance and seeing everything that's happening around us as being necessary to achieve the next goal which is the full awareness of the Aquarian age of equinimity and justice and love and sharing and exactly what you're talking about in business. This is a very shamanic approach to business, you know, because for shamans, everything is one thing and it but it's also a very new world view to put everybody in their expert place so they can all play together and they can all shine a light on each other instead of just on themsel you know I am the head, I am the best, I I me me and it's becoming us the collect Ive consciousness is the Christ consciousness that we are all one that we are all related to each other you know this is the this is the thing that's that will heal humanity is the understanding of who we really are to each other that we really are a cast of characters that we that no one is again really against us that someone is playing their part so convincingly that we placed them in that position we placed them in that as our adversary as our husband or our, you know, former wife or our teacher or our parents or whoever they are, we placed them there, man.

And if we could just consider that for a moment, even if we don't really remember it, even if we just look at that as a possibility, I placed this person, this very difficult person in my path, the only question is why? What did I hope to learn? What skill that I hope to learn or perfect? Is it non-judgment?

Is it unconditional love? Is it forgiveness? If I was going to give you a theme to my life, I would say that unconditional love and forgiveness is what I came here for because I was abused from the day I was born. And so it has caused me to accept circumstances for what they are rather than hoping it will be different in the future.

Just looking at the facts. This is where we are at. And I invited this person in. So what what in the world was I thinking?

You know, I want a better law I want a better attorney next time I sign my life contract. I want a better lawyer. Yeah. Yeah, cuz I or I was one of those silly souls that said just give it to me.

I just want to let's knock off a bunch in this lifetime. Well Well, here's something you said. So you said something in the beginning and then you just said another thing here and I just want to try and reconcile the two because Okay, you at the beginning and which this feels right. Feels right.

I'm going to go back to the feeling that we're not here to actually learn anything. We're here just remembering who we are, right? But then you said when you looked at a situation happening, you're saying, "What do I need to learn from this?" But is it is it really learning through your situation? Because you just said, "Well, what am I here to learn?" But in the previous one, you said, "You're not here to learn anything.

You're here to remember who you are." So if we're not Do you see what I mean? There's a there's a different energy vibration with learning something as as opposed to going, "Oh, I'm just unlearning the humanity. I'm un I'm unlearning, so to speak." Like, I'm taking the layer of the conditioning and the programming off so I can remember who I truly am. So, we're not really learning, we're unlearning, right?

We are. We're experiencing. Yes. We're having the experience for the reasons that we do not remember.

Yeah. And so, yeah. So, we're not learning anything. We're going.

So, when something happens and the ad So, for same for me, like I look at my alcoholism and I thought I was winning the game of life and I thought I was I was a partner in a firm and I was making all this money and I thought I was important and I finally made it to the pinnacle. Finally broke through and then the alcoholism just pummeled me, right? And crushed me and I go like I why why me? And it was and I quickly just completely surrendered to recovery and I look back on it going it served me because it helped me wake up.

Like I look at it as not a negative anymore. It's a positive, right? But it's this it's this unlearning. It's unlearning.

It's unpacking and taking the layers of conditioning and programming off so that I can remember who and what I am, right? The whole thing is an experience. So when something negative happens and I see a negative person now, it's like, "Oh, well obviously I want to experience that because they're here." Like you can't argue it. Like you can just you can't argue reality.

It's like, "Well, no." Someone goes, "Well, no, no. Why would you choose that?" And I said, "Well, you can ask why all you want, but the fact is it's here. And the fact that it's here, it's real. So therefore, all progress starts by telling the truth.

And the truth is, there's an [ __ ] standing in front of me causing all sorts of grief for me. I'm clearly wanting to experience this. What part of my unlearning are they showing me? Right.

Yes. Yeah. Yeah. What part of my unlearning?

That's kind of hard to say it that way, but yes. Yeah. So, what are they helping me? What?

How are they helping me? How are they helping me to be my best or to grow as a soul? How are they helping me? How is this supposed to help me?

How's this insult, this humiliation, this great loss? How is this helping me? Well, you know, so many question, so many answers to that question. Well, again, I just want to keep diving a little bit deeper into this because it's like if We are truly souls part of the one consciousness.

We are already complete and full and omni omnip. It's there. Okay. So everything we're experiencing is an unlearning and an unpacking of the layers of amnesia that we that we agreed to go through so that we could experience this.

So alls I'm doing is I'm unpacking the unlearning as every experience is I'm not learning anything new. I'm just unpacking the I'm unpacking the I'm I'm I'm removing layers of amnesia. Yes. Because I'm already I'm adding to our algorithm, you know, we're adding to our own algorithm.

We are we are it's information. All of it is just fodder. All of it is just information. Positive or negative, it's just information.

It's just experiences and we as a soul know that we cannot be hurt. We cannot be harmed. Yeah. There we're all going home.

There was Okay. So, I got I got this white I got a white. So, actually I want to show you what if anybody's watching the video here in the back. I've got the I've got a Viking shield.

I've got an axe and I've got my unique ability statement. So, this is to remind me of my mind, my body, and my spirit. Those are the three things right there. And that just reminds me of that every once in a while I'll go over to the whiteboard and I'll write something down.

And so I was writing down the sole exper it's the sole purpose, my sole purpose. And I was like it's to experience, learn, and contribute. But I'm I think I'm refraraming that now. It's like to experience, unlearn, and contribute.

Like you said, adding to the algorithm. I'm here to contribute something. So this is where the ethos of the Viking Academy is. Like in the beginning of your book.

Ah the okay the wellspring okay Mark Twain the two most important days of your life in this iteration is the day you were born and the day you found out why I'm here to contribute something to the unfolding of existence and the expression of life through the creator's right so I'm here to contribute something so what am I here to contribute right you're like I'm contributing the Viking academy podcast with Susan my friend Susan now and we're contributing this. This is a contribution. This is part of what we're doing. We're experiencing Erik and Susan having the conversation and through as a result of the experience and the contribution I am now unlearning the layers are coming off and I'm starting to see a little more of who I'm tr what I who I truly am.

Yeah. People think that we came here to be happy or that we're, you know, that we're always seeking to be happy. It's always important to be happy. No, we didn't come here to be happy.

We were happy right where we were. It says right that right in the introduction, it says we did not come to Earth to be happy. Yes, we were happy right where we were. We were perfectly comfortable right where we were.

We came here to be uncomfortable on purpose. Right. On purpose. Yes.

Yes. Yes. We came here to experience this because this is this is like a playground. This is like the ultimate amusement park as you go into Disneyland.

Disneyland and Disneyland does this and I've I've thought about this. This is why I think as humans we'll go why we love watching games. The Olympics is on and we like seeing games because we get caught into the drama. We get sucked into the game, right?

That's a reflection so above so below. It's a reflection of the game that we're playing on the grander scale, which is just it's a game and we get sucked into it and we forget. Like when you go to a game, you forget you lose yourself. It's like watching a movie.

You kind of forget who you are and you get sucked into the movie. That's that forgetting, right? And we don't we don't really hate the actors that are playing villains, you know? We don't, you know, we know at the end of the movie, we're not going to hold that against that actor, you know, for being that villain, you know, right?

We know it's we could change that channel. We know that of all of the of all the choices that we have as souls, it's like all the channels that are out there on cable, we're only going to tune into one at a time, one story at a time. And that's each lifetime. Okay?

So, in this lifetime, I am tuned into right now 2026 on a podcast with Erik. You know, I'm tuned into this right now, but I could have chosen something else. I mean, I could have chosen something else and I could give myself a really different experience, but I am into the juicy stuff. Yeah, we talked about the juice earlier, man.

Yeah, it's juicy. Oh my god, this all this yummy, juicy, delicious ah conversation. Yeah, we know that we're here for this. We know because of the way it lights us up.

We know when we're lit up, this is what we are supposed to be doing, at least right now, you know. Yes. And it's that people are not trusting their light. They're not trusting that good feeling they get when they're doing something.

They still go back to obligation because they think they have to. Going back to that, you got to pick one thing and do that one thing. Well, no, you don't. You don't have to do that.

You don't have to go here. You don't have to work there. You don't have to stay married. Nobody is trapped.

Nobody is trapped in their circumstances. But we behave as if we are as if we don't have any choice. As if we're stuck. And none of us are.

We're sovereign. And those that's what pisses people off is that when those of us who are expressing our sovereignty and our unbridled joy makes people not like trust us or something like what's wrong with her? She's just happy all the time. That is just not right.

Yeah. Well, and to take it to the extreme, I've often thought about this with Jesus. He was like shining a light on showing how the game how you actually unlock the keys to the game. And he was telling everybody the rules of the game.

And then the people, the rest of the souls were like, "Just quiet, dude. You're going to ruin it for the rest of us. Quiet. Let's kill him.

Quick, kill him." Boom. Let's kill him. Get him off the [ __ ] board. You got to dad to take him off the board because he was telling too many secrets, right?

And you see that with spiritual teachers over the ages, over the millennia, they teach us these things and they end up being martyed or killed or whatever. It's like because they're taking them off the board. Don't tell everybody yet. Too soon.

Too soon. No, quiet. Right. Well, now we are actually a little behind schedule.

So 27 is going to be interesting. We're going to get our first international exposure to our cosmic family. Yes, I'm I've been waiting for that. I really think Yeah.

Well, I don't think that everyone is really knows what they've been waiting for or is prepared for what they've been waiting for, but they're going to begin with the ones that look just like us that have been here for a long time. And so, it'll hopefully freak people out a little bit less. But one of the things my guides are telling me is that as soon as they make these announcements, it is really gonna shift some paradigms here on the planet. You know, because we've been so pitted against each other, Republican, Democrat, black, white, red, blue, whatever.

We've just been shredding each other because of our differences. And that is going to link a lot of people together because humans just have this natural us against them. You know this just this natural thing that they go through. So once they introduce our offplanet born cousins that is going to help some people link arms as humans it hopefully this will be temporary because it's still going to be us versus them.

I know exactly. They're really going to want to be able to identify. It's also going to bring out the ones who believe they're Octuran or Andromedan or But we're talking about those who are born off planet, not the star seeds. Not the people who believe that they are star seeds.

This is going to be true star seeds. The ones that were born off planet who have been here for decades and decades. They're in the Pentagon. They've been walking among us for a very long time.

So I think that's going to improve things in one way, but it's also going to be a temporary breakdown of that still that judgmental us against them. Once they once I think humans come to acknowledge and realize we're the only ones shooting, we're the only ones being aggressive. Us humans are the only ones acting like children. And that they have come Yeah.

To keep us from hurting ourselves any further or the planet that so many of us and them depend on. They're they're going to be helping to usher in this this collective consciousness, this unified consciousness. And you know, those of us who are already a little ahead of the game will be welcoming these newcomers, or they're actually not newcomers, but the acknowledgement of them. Yes.

And we're going to have to really help the rest of them get on board. We're have to really open up our big hearts and help people understand that we are still all one. Even if we don't aren't all born on the same planet, that we're still all one. And you know, they didn't make it this far by fighting and destroying each other.

They had to put that those gloves down a long time ago in order for them to collaborate and to do the work that they're doing now. One of the things that so here's me. Okay, so I'm going to share a little more personal stuff here. So, I've had a couple people that have listened to my podcast and they've known me for a while and they're like, "Erik, you started off exploring the mind, body, spirit was cool.

Now you're getting way out there, man. You just you're you're you're too far gone. Like, you're you're not I don't quite follow what you're saying, dude." And I'm like, I've been like, "Okay, that's fine." But then every once in a while, I'll be kind of like, "Okay, a little bit shy on it, but I'm gonna say it here." that because of I've been I can take it. Come on with my guides and the rest of it is that the the Viking Academy is going to be the new earth school.

Like that's where the Viking Academy is going to be the contribution of the new earth school and it's going to help us integrate with understanding that connection. And that's where that it's it's the blending of the ancient knowledge that we've had that we've lost with today and bringing it together. And that's where the Viking Academy is coming from. It just happens to be the Viking is like what I was called as a kid and it's my heritage and all the rest of them I'm I'm kind of Anyways, it's the new earth school and so that's what the Viking Academy is for, right?

But it's interesting because I can't it's not the typical business where I can see what the it looks like and the I can't see it but I'm just doing it anyways. Like I'm just doing the podcast. I'm doing Viking shots. I've kind of created a membership site, but I don't have a vision going, "Oh, here it is and here's your stages and this is what you pay." Like, I just have no [ __ ] clue, right?

But I feel it and I know it because I've had that same thing of going the thing that's going to bring bring humans together is a common enemy. And so when the when the aliens come down and they go, "Hey, by the way, you're not alone." That'll bring us together, but it's still not going to bring us together in the wholeness because it's what you just said. We're now going to still be fighting against them. No, no, no, no.

It's understanding that it's all one, right? And so I completely resonate on that and I've felt that for a long time. I really hope our aggression is very shortlived. Yeah.

Yeah. There are those that just can't compel they can't control themselves. They just, you know, there's a lot of really terrified, angry people out there and they're dangerous to everyone, especially themselves, but there are people who just cannot accept their neighbor as they are. Well, that's because they they took a extra dose of the amnesia pill.

Yeah. That's all it is. I know, right? And so I know and again if we look at that from the holistic point that you said like we're all just experiencing contributing and unlearning then that's their what their soul is here to experience.

Yeah. Contribute and unlearn. Yeah. And if you are here to serve old world I mean if you are here to help old world pass away.

You are here as an activist. Yes. You are here to point out all the corruption and to expose all of that stuff. You are here to bring attention to what is not working, all the broken stuff.

Yes. So, you know, whatever we put our attention on expands. That's why I recommend not to stare at [ __ ] because you know, whatever you look at expands. So, don't stare at them.

Yeah. Yeah. You know, I just my mom cracks me up because of the way she hates Donald Trump and cannot stop watching him. Yes.

I'm like, "Mom, why are you doing that to yourself?" Seriously, if I don't like someone, I get as far away from them as possible. I don't I don't envelop myself in that energy. I just go whoop. Yeah.

I just place it over here. I don't I think that everything happening right now is very necessary and I'm about to deliver a message on Sunday and I channel a message on the fourth Sunday of every month at my Sunday gathering and at my school and I only just this just started at the first of the year so I've done it once to planned I've done it spontaneously over the years leading sweat lodge and that type of thing I mean spirit always gives me something to share with the tribe. But this I actually had to put on Facebook that I would be channeling a message. Ah I got to do another video this afternoon to channel a message that I or to post that I will be doing this on Sunday.

Now there was standing room only last month. I mean we used every chair in the place and the they packed they packed the room. Radical acceptance is required for peace of mind. If we cannot accept life on life's terms, and you and I both belong to a program where that is that is just a requirement, you know, for being happily sober if you cannot accept.

I think it was page 449 in the old big book that talked about acceptance being the key to your happiness. Yeah. And it's it's I've never forgotten that. And it's absolutely true.

I can accept that people are being who they are. It doesn't mean I like them. Doesn't mean I love what they're doing, but I can accept that they're necessary in the world and that there are people who need them to be who they are. I if that makes me uncomfortable, I simply go put my attention on something else that brings me much more peace.

Nobody is trapped. Nobody is stuck. But some people have a job of dealing with the really difficult stuff. That's what their soul came in to do.

That's what they're here to do. That's not what I'm here to do. I'm here to I'm the alarm clock. I'm very clear about what I'm on this planet to do.

For some reason, when I am counseling a person, things come out of my mouth that never went through my head that said, "You sh probably shouldn't say that to people." Instead, it feels like it bubbles up out of my heart and through my mouth. And the most profound and sometimes very stern things come out of my mouth and that I did not intend or but I go with it. You know, when when the guides start talking, you know, when I channel, I don't look different, sound different, I don't prepare. I it just suddenly something comes out of my mouth I have never thought of before and I've never heard before so I know it's not me.

But that's I have opened myself up in this way on purpose so that I can be of service anywhere I go. And I made a commitment in 2003 on the beach of Hilton or Hunting Island on on ladies on I'm sorry not ladies island it's on St. Helena and I just begged God to give me a job to do that. I was so sad about the condition of our world and I said, "I offer myself to you with no exceptions.

You have all of me. Just let me do something that'll actually help." And from that moment on, I have had this ability to help people wake up. The first book came out of my hands. That was the morning I asked.

And 3 weeks later, the first book started coming out of my hands. I didn't even know how to type, but suddenly I'm typing 60 words a minute, and I'm watching a movie screen in front of me, and I'm just describing what I see. The first 50 pages was written first, which is in the back of the book, and that's the message for humanity. I wrote this message for humanity, and I went, that's not true.

That can't be true. But I didn't know about the reality that other people experience in this world because I was raised in I call it Wonderbread with the crust cut off. White neighborhood. We had no diversity, no culture in our neighborhoods.

We were surrounded by white people. I didn't meet my first black person till I went to college. And I did not mean meet my first Latino person till I moved to South Carolina 30 years ago. We had salt, pepper, and cinnamon and sugar as in our cabinet.

We did not have margarm, oregano. I didn't know what these things were. I didn't know what ginger tasted like. I didn't I just didn't have any complexity in my life.

So when spirit started talking to me about shadow government and about chemtrails and things like that, I'm like, I don't know what you're talking about. It took six years to do the research for that book because I was so naive and I was lit I was raised in such a sheltered environment. I didn't know about these things. I didn't know anything about it.

And I was raised by people who trusted our government and were loyal to their insurance companies and, you know, loyal, faithful, good old Catholics. And I just didn't know that the world was this complex. And it took me a minute to make my peace with it. I had to make my peace with it because it upset me greatly.

The cruelty that humanity is capable of was unfathomable to me. I didn't know these things were really going on. And I needed to face that reality so that I could do something to help. First, I had to be educated.

First, I had to understand what is harming humanity. What is really bringing people down? What's making them sick? What is making them sad?

What is making them hate each other? I had to understand what that was first before I could begin to counsel people out of their out of their diseases, out of their judgments, out of their low self-esteem, out of their brokenness, out of their trauma. You know, first we had to face the fact that we are perfect souls that live in a perfect world and that it is perfectly broken as we are perfectly flawed. You know, I'm flawed in all the right places.

I have the perfect flaws for Susan Stone. I am absolutely perfectly flawed for me. And you are perfectly flawed for you. As our world is perfectly flawed, but as long as we keep thinking someone forgot about us or something went wrong or there's some evil that's in charge, then we've given all of our power away.

Maybe given all of our power away to it. I just simply won't do that anymore. Now that I know I have personal power, no one gets it. I think that is like the ultimate takeaway from this conversation is the minute you stop thinking about a devil, the devil disappeared.

Did cease to exist. It does not exist in my world. Does not exist. It does not exist.

No, we made it up, Erik. Yeah, totally. Everything's made up. Oh, I know.

I know. It's all made up. Everything is made up. Everything's made up.

I actually have. So again, this is from strategic coach and it's literally he has these three rules for staying cool and calm. I write it down. Says number one, everything's made up.

Okay. So you can make things up, too. Yeah. Number two, nobody's in charge.

So you can take charge. So you can take charge. And number three, life's not fair. So you can focus on being uniquely useful.

Exactly. See, it's a spiritual program wrapped in a business blanket. Yeah. Yeah.

Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah.

I actually think life is fair. The universal laws levels out the playing field for all humans. So, yeah. It's it's just it's a it's a game, but we're not using it to our own advantage.

So, once we know it's a game, then we learn how to play it. And then we can bring ourselves the wealth and the happiness and the joy and the purpose and all of that. Once we realize it's not being withheld from us and that our purpose in life is not some Easter egg hunt that God hid and we have to go find. Once we realize that we give our life's purpose that we don't have to fulfill somebody else's purpose that we get to define what our purpose is.

That's the freedom cuz nobody assigned us the life that we're living now. We are creating it by our thoughts moment by moment. We are having our own experience based on what we will allow ourselves to have. Every single one of us is as happy, healthy, and wealthy as we will allow ourselves to be.

I'm I'm just proof that you don't have to be poor. I was raised with so much disadvantage that I didn't think I had a choice. I thought I was stuck in that world. And that wasn't true.

You know, I'm not even stuck in in the physicality I started out with. I've completely changed that. You know, my ADHD is clearly managed. I do find having this much extra energy at 67 quite helpful.

So, I am not looking for Yeah. Yes. But the dyslexia, it's turned around. Even though I wrote a four upside down and backwards about two months ago, it's still I'm way better than I used to be.

And what I have realized is that dyslexia has helped me to look at the world from very different perspectives. I can read mirror writing. I can read backwards. I can read upside down and sideways.

So, it's given me the ability to see the world very differently. It may have been a challenge in school growing up, but now I use it to just see uniquely because I know I'm having a unique experience. The greatest gift the universe gave you is you. Yeah.

The greatest gift the universe gave you is you. I've said that so many times that I said no one will ever experience Susan Stone except for Susan Stone. No one will experience Erik the Viking except for Erik the Viking. And a listener.

No one will ever experience you except for you. That was the gift that creation gave you was you. And so Dr. Seuss does something like that.

There's no one youer than you. Yeah, there's no one there's no one more youer than you. I like that. We gota we got to have to wrap this up here.

Okay. I But so the magical nature of humans. We are more than we appear to be. Susan Stone, that's that's the latest book.

Where can they find you? Where can people find you on social or website? Where can they find you? Well, Susan Stone on Facebook.

The Buer County drum circle will be at my place on Friday night. I host them in the winter. I gota We're gonna have to find a time for me to come down and see you. That's absolutely have to happen.
