THE Runes
Viking runes are characters from ancient alphabets used by the Norse people. They served for writing, communication, and inscriptions on stone, wood, metal, & bone.
Runes also held magical significance, used in rituals, amulets & divination. The symbols offered a glimpse into Viking life, culture & beliefs.
At 8:08 PM on March 10, 2024, I consulted the runes on the issue of the Viking Academy.
The response was the rune Teiwaz, (The Rune of the Spiritual Warrior) which gave me the following guidance:
1) Remember that the true battle is always with the self
2) Allow the will of the divine to flow through you
3) Resolve to align yourself with your higher "Self"
...and the Viking Academy was born.
THE RUNE OF THE VIKING ACADEMY
I created The Viking Academy Rune to act as a symbol & reminder for what it means to be a spiritual warrior.
This Rune tells us the following:
- Life created you for a purpose, to fulfill a role in its unfolding.
- Pick up your sword, explore yourself & cut away your past conditioning to discover who you are & why you're here.
- Actively engage your life with passion & purpose like the ancient Vikings did.
This rune has 3 Guiding Principles:
