Sheri Shea begins her 7th season as the Head Platform Tennis Professional and the Assistant Racquets Director at the Hartford Golf Club in West Hartford, CT. She has revitalized her paddle community with a variety of academy dates, clinics and leagues and the establishment of a local paddle website, paddlemaven.com. In only her 4th full year of tournament play, Sheri is currently ranked 7th in the country in the Women’s Open Division and 2nd in the Women’s Over 40 Division.

Sheri has taught tennis professionally for 25 years and was a nationally ranked junior and top 20 Division I collegiate player for the University of North Texas. She was the first woman to coach a Division I Men’s Sport and coached both the Men’s and Women’s Tennis Teams for the University of Hartford from 1985-1989. As Deputy Director for the NY Junior Tennis League, Sheri managed 18 free tennis centers in the five boroughs reaching over 20,000 children a year.
